Should I Sell My XRP Ripple CryptoCurrency? Edit
The simple answer is, YES! Without a doubt you should sell your entire XRP allotment/position. At first I was actually hesitant to sell my XRP. I bought it unfortunately when it was still rather high at .72 a token. What did I get for it, you may ask? A measly .27 each!!! Now it has slid down to .21 each.
I sold when mostly smaller exchanges were delisting. Yes, that is right! Delisting XRP. For fear that the exchange itself would be in trouble for selling a security and not currency. But it gets much much worse. Recently CoinBase has decided to delist XRP as well. When? If they have not done it at the time of this writing, they will very shortly. It is going to continue to grow to where XRP will be worthless. That and the owners, let us say, the founders of XRP. Still have billions upon billions of tokens to release. They can not release them like normal to keep with the pricing. When they released many millions or a billion during any given quarter. It would not lower the price if at all. Now, with every one cashing in their XRP. They are not able to just dump them right now. That would bring the price, surely to zero. But don’t sit there and think they are not releasing any. Because they are. I think they may get rid of as many as they can afford to get rid of.
If the lawsuit does not go their way then what they have left will be garbage. Worth nothing. However they may hold on to some in case they do win the lawsuit. God knows how long the lawsuit will take. It could be years. Well a month is eternity in crypto space. Given that it will probably take years. The damage is already done. Sell your XRP NOW! DO not say we did not warn you. Take your losses and be glad you got something for them.
Now, on to where you should put the cashed in amount to. Do not jump up and say that is easy, Bitcoin. If you see the price now. It is around 27,059.00 at the time of this writing. That is it for right now. It topped out. Once investors see that it reached the top. They are going to take their profits. So BTC will go down many thousands of dollars. But it may take a while for this to transpire. The next logical crypto currency you probably think of is Ethereum. Well just like XRP, Ethereum was not originally mined. SO they could be facing the same boat. Only time will tell. Plus the Ethereum blockchain is slow and gas fees are high. AHAH! gas fees are high. So where do I put the money that was in XRP.
